Privacy Policy

Updated September 19, 2026.

TMIR is an iPhone app and website made by Yili. Neither uses ads or analytics. I don’t sell your data.

Your books

Your library, ratings, covers, and settings stay on your iPhone. There’s no account or sync, and I can’t see your books. Deleting the app deletes its local data. If you back up your iPhone, that backup may include your TMIR data. Apple handles those backups.

Book search

Searches and cover requests go to Open Library, run by the Internet Archive. It receives your search text, requested covers, IP address, and the app’s name, version, and support email. It doesn’t receive your library, ratings, or email address. Its terms and privacy policy apply to those requests. You can use manual entry instead of searching.

Photos and sharing

TMIR saves a local copy of a cover photo you choose. It can’t browse your other photos.

Sharing sends text, an image, or both to the app you choose and copies the caption to your clipboard. You decide whether to publish it. The receiving app’s privacy policy applies there.

This website

I don’t add cookies or tracking scripts. Cloudflare hosts the site. It receives your IP address, browser details, and the page you visit to serve and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Email and questions

If you contact tmirapp@outlook.com, I receive your address, message, and attachments through Outlook. I use them to help you and keep them while handling your request, or longer if the law requires it. Email me with questions or to ask me to correct or delete your support messages.

I’ll update the date above when this policy changes and explain any significant changes here.
